I listened to the graphic audio while following along in my physical copy ...

I was so skeptical about reading this, but my book buddy kept telling me I would love this.

I began this back in January but did not finish chapter 1 ... when I got a notification for the graphic audio, I borrowed it with hesitation. However, when I started it, I fell in love.

Where has graphic audio been all of my life?!

This seriously changed the game with how I viewed this book ... big time! It made the battles/games so much more suspenseful and had them playing like a movie.

I was lost in this ...

To the characters, I loved Violet, Xaden, and Liam.

I have to say that I can see why people just disliked the "light" on Violet being so tiny. However, it was not something that I was paying attention to, and I definitely would have noticed.

With Xaden, I knew that I was going to love him.

Liam was such a friend ... and I am so glad that Violet got to know him!

I just wanted to point out that I really could not stand Dain. He was a necessary character, but he was such a shitty person, especially when it came to Violet.

I also could not stand Violet's mother. IYKYK

That ending had me staring off in a "wtf" way. Wow!

Do I think this book lived up to its hype? Yes!
Am I nervous about book 2 now? Yes!
