Oh man was this a ride. I was hooked from the very beginning. Everything escalated very quickly, as I'm assuming it would if something like this were to actually happen.

Imagine waking up one day and being able to use electricity to defend yourself? Yeah, I can see how that would drive some people crazy, and how it could drive some people to be power hungry. Especially in a country where women are violently oppressed and they have the ability to destroy someone with just the touch of their hand? Understandable that things could get out of control.

The way that things escalated and moved in this story line up with how I believe society handles things as a whole already, which made the book even more enjoyable. I also enjoyed the whole "unification of religion" thing the author did. It was great.
