Faithless by Karin Slaughter

Out of all the Grant County books so far, Faithless was my least favorite. The pacing felt slower, and parts of the investigation dragged, making it harder to stay engaged.
That being said, the ending was fantastic! Slaughter knows how to deliver an emotional gut punch, and the final stretch of the book really picked up. The character dynamics and intense final moments almost made up for the slower parts.
While this wasn’t my favorite in the series, I’m still excited to keep going and see where the story leads next.
