A lot of the reviews mention the FMC, Rae, being dumb and always walking into danger. But I really enjoyed that she knew she had no self-preservation instincts, and truly, I think a huge part of that was the God calling to her. She even references that every choice she made brought her to that moment in the mine.
I loved Leon, I would absolutely die for Cheesecake. The spicy scenes were certainly spicing the way they should. The overall creepy vibe and the description of the monsters was excellent.
My one gripe was the use of "nonplussed" in the way that people who don't know what it means use it. So that should've been caught by the editor but whatever.
I also felt like the whole thing with her youtube channel was pointless, she could've just been a gal who enjoyed urban exploring and ghost hunting.
All in all, I'll definitely be reading the sequels!
