(3.5) Took me about 100 pages to get into and connect with the characters, but I loved the local and intimate feel and characters, very Liana Moriarity vibes, just with less serious drama lol! The book had a good flow and all three characters had different perspectives. Loved Lu since her personal motivation and career was interesting to follow, and then Joy was nice even if the mom drama was annoying at some points. Anthony was horrible tho like im sorry, he was just a victim the whole time it felt like, and he just needed to get over himself and stop blaming others for what had happened to his life. Cute lil read tho, maybe a lil long, but nice chill story and characters to connect with.
