This is a heartwarming story about an unlikely bunch of strangers who come together under an even more unlikely situation. It was funny, warm, and the writing was neat.
Mostly I've learned a lot about the pov of parents and their side of the story regarding raising children and being responsible. Since I'm not a parent, it makes me understand my own parents better.
The characters also each have their own unique problems and stories and as you get to know about them, maybe you'll know about yourself more too. To summarise, as the author says, 'this is a book about idiots.'
