2.5
Sadly, this isn’t a five-star read for me but by the end, I was having a good time. Even though this included one of my least favourite tropes, and to be honest I feel like this gives off the vibe of the author trying to write about new characters but, then getting sucked back into old ones which I usually wouldn’t have a problem with but, the fact that if the names and some minor moments were changed I wouldn’t even think it was a sequel isn’t great.
That being said if this wasn’t a sequel I would have most likely rated this five stars. This just didn’t feel like Wes and Liz. And the ending I needed like another fifty to a hundred pages.
As a sequel this is a 2.5 but because I feel like I would rate it higher if those things were changed I’m going to go with a 3.5 although I might change my mind on that when I let it sit longer.
Changed it.
