Finn's Fantasy by K.C. Wells

3.5*

This is a sweet romance with an age gap and an older man finally living his true self after a 20 year marriage.

There's lots of awwww moments, not much angst and I felt the reactions of his kids ran true in how they responded first to the initial divorce and then once Joel's sexuality was revealed.

Finn was a total sweetheart, although to me, he and all his friends read older than their mid 20s, and I liked his friendly and helpful nature and his shyness.

Joel was also a great character, his fears about finally living an out life were understandable, as were his concerns about what his teenage kids would think. I also very much appreciated that his ex wife was a wonderfully supportive person and they still had a great friendship.

The sex is both emotional and steamy and it felt right at the pace it developed and it has a great sense of place and setting, with a lovely thread of humour running throughout.

Definitely looking forward to more.
