I picked this book up after the author shared the series with me on a thread about another book series. I thought it was a great book, as it’s a refreshing step up from the typical YA romance. I love romance novels but there needs to be more books in this genre for people in their twenties. This book hit exactly that mark for me.
It was a fast paced book which helped me get right into the book, but at times I did a quick reread of the final page of the previous chapter as it would jump a little bit. But overall it was still well done and kept me reading. I give it four stars as the sequel blows the first book out of the park, so I wanted to save a five star review for it ;)
