Curses, and demons, and gigantic vermin: Oh My!

Although the rate I am making my way through this series offers the impression that this series is an easy read and an easy read only that is only part of the truth; this series is also fun and all of the little and large discoveries along the way will cause the reader to not part with the volume(s) until the final turn of their tomare page.

We are going to see a lot of growth for our band of heroes as they attempt to become S-Class guild members. One quote, "The you of the past is gone! You're now so strong! Never hesitate!" - Lyra, Gate of the Harpist (124), will be their mantra as they strive to advance in rank, and in job levels.

This line stood out to me not only because of how its beauty and truth was able to cause Gray, Natsu, Lucy and Happy to realign with their inner and outer self, but also due to the fact I am going through a time of change myself and could use the reassurance that the past happened (for better or worse) and I am improved due to its end. That improvement will cause us all to see the future in an encouraging light.

Will the previously mentioned curses, demons, and gigantic vermin be resolved in volume 5, or is this the mere beginning for several volumes to come? The only way to find out is to request the next book in the series!
