☆ Workplace romance
☆ Women in STEM
☆ Forced proximity
☆ He falls first
☆ Grumpy x Sunshine
☆ Feminine rage
This book is technically a romance, but to be honest, the real star is the FMC’s inner monologue and her unapologetic feminine rage. The single female narrator captured it perfectly.
Yes, the MMC is tall, handsome, and basically the perfect man, but the highlight for me was the FMC: a brilliant woman in STEM who knows what she wants and makes things happen for herself and others.
If you want a tightly plotted, well-structured story, this probably isn’t the book for you. This one is all about the vibes. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a community of women trying to mind their own business must be in want of a random man’s opinion.
If there is one thing men hate more than a smart woman, it’s a smart woman who makes her own choices when it comes to her own sex life.
Thank you, Oh Penised Overlords, for the recognition I deserve.
With Levi present, his team tends to agree to my suggestions more quickly—a phenomenon known as Sausage Referencing™. Well, to Annie and me, at least. In Cockcluster™ or WurstFest™ situations, having a man vouch for you will help you be taken seriously—the better-regarded the man, the higher his Sausage Referencing™ power.
