Phew. If you like your fantasy to be completely original, you’ll love this too. I don’t often finish a book these days wanting to it again straight away, but this time I did..there are twists and turns in the plot from start to finish, and I know I missed most of them the first time round! There are also a lot of racial metaphors that I’m not smart enough to understand with just one reading, either.
2020 has been a crap year obviously but not in reading...this must be at least the tenth 5 star book this year!
