Regretting You by Colleen Hoover

2.0

I don’t know why I read CoHo as much as I do. Her shit is sad. This was supposed to be a hobby of escapism. I don’t care to mourn some dumb slutty white dad who lived his life as a whore. That being said, I read this pretty quickly. There are a lot of unanswered questions and while I understand the people are like “wah this is my growth and this is grieving” but, bitch, I want to know. I’m not mourning the dumb slutty dad. Tell me! What was in the letters? Who’s baby is that? Also, the daughter is so mean to the mom. And the mom is so dumb. I’m so sick of the trope of “protecting loved ones” while not telling them stuff. Like ignorance doesn’t benefit anyone. Also, the love interests were just bleh. Truly nothing is there. Skin vessels to say the most. I didn’t care for them or their success.  Whatever, this book did not do much for me.
