Ich und die Heartbreakers - Make my heart sing
by Ali Novak
This book is in no way equal to the first Heartbreakers book. The story, although generally interesting, feels forced in certain moments, Felicity and Alec have way less chemistry than Stella and Oliver and generally it's to cliche for me.
But I still really enjoyed the scenes of all the Heartbreakers together. Ali Novak knows how to write their friendship authentic, it's what made the first book so great, and the chemistry between the boys is just right.
Asha is also a well-written character and the friend group of Felicity, Asha and Boomer also is realistic and relatable.
I would have never imagined to like Violet James but her last appearance had me thinking "she's such a cutie".
I loved the notes Alec wrote in Felicity's book and the many parallels that this book included, between Felicity/Alec and many other people/couples.
Still, I feel like Alec and Felicity lacked chemistry and I'm kinda sad about that bc they are both great characters that I learned to love over these two books (Alec during the last, Felicity in this one).
