I thought I was getting a Chinese fairy tale for adults but this was more of a mishmash of genres because it was also a detective mystery in there that didn't seem to go with the fairy tale theme so I was a bit disappointed with that. Also, I thought that maybe it was a bit of a revenge story but then

Snow didn't get her revenge because somebody else did it for her.

also a little disappointing. The rating itself was beautiful, but the story was slow and a bit boring because of its length. The happy ending was also kind of obvious and a bit of a cop out I think.
