I don’t understand the hype around this book.
It’s well written but drags a little.
The story explores racial and ethnic relations in America 1920-1930s.
The characters and their connections are slightly complex.
Overall, I don’t feel this was a must read book.
It wasn’t bad, but it certainly wasn’t as good as I expected it to me.
