I loved every page of this book. The eeriness portrayed through the questionable reliability of memory and self-perception seeps through every passage. It's dark, and the darkness infuses all parts of the story. I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning and still can't shake the sense of dread. I almost had to put it down near the end because it got too chill-inducing. I know it sounds discouraging, but it was compelling through and through. Must read for 2017.
