The Peripheral by William Gibson

3.0

I felt like a lot of the book was spent developing setting and character and then letting the characters get to know each other. The basic plot was that Flynn saw someone get murdered in the future and then had to go to a party to meet the sister of the woman who was murdered, but she spent about 75% of the book getting ready for the party.

Also, my favourite line: "evil is just a high school level of badness allowed to continue."
