Pygmy by Chuck Palahniuk

3.0

The book has such great energy, and almost a campiness to it that is a tad unusual for the author, that you are carried through the narrative in no time at all. The voice of the narrator is the real star of the book and in some ways overshadows what the book has to say, but the darkness manages to poke through.

However, the ending of the book is such a cop out that it almost undermines the book's strengths, and that is rather disappointing.
