Happy Fat: Taking Up Space in a World That Wants to Shrink You by Sofie Hagen

challenging funny informative slow-paced

3.0

I really enjoyed the mix of personal experience and professional research that was included; along with the three interviews Sofie had with other "fattys" that gave a broader view of what it is like to exist and work within the world as a fat person and in the movement.
I did not like the interjections the author included because she was narrating her own book. I have this issue with many books that are narrated by those that wrote the book, I love that they are voicing their own works, I don't like the feeling I get that I'm not consuming the book in the way that it was written.
