The banter between these two was so good and I loved how most of the chapters in Maddie’s POV started with a quick backstory.

Both Maddie and Patrick tried to deny their feelings for each other for the longest time. I loved the f*ck it moment in this book. The growth that Maddie went through in this book was amazing to see and I was rooting her on the entire time! I loved how sassy she was and how forward she was in the bedroom 🀭.

Patrick was fighting his own demons through this book but he redeemed himself and fought for what he wanted. The relationship that Patrick has with his nieces is so special and I loved seeing his nieces and his family fall for Maddie the same way he did as well. He was so caring for Maddie when she got hurt - he washed and braided her hair πŸ₯° I need this man in my life. I could not put this book down to save my life and was at Patrick’s mercy the entire book.

I’m not sure what Chrissy put in this book but this man was everything and the spicy scenes πŸ₯΅πŸ€. If you love banter, frenemies to lovers, grumpy sunshine, and spicy this book is for you. Patrick being Irish and a soccer player was EVERYTHING! πŸ’š

Thank you, Chrissy, for the opportunity to read this ARC πŸ’š.
