More memory lane for me~ Now we have the full main cast and I am once more surprised at how fast paced, yet perfectly paced the story is! Like, there's so much action but it doesn't come off as too overdone and boring! I guess it's due to the characters honestly. Rosette is so honest, gun-ho, and is more action than words - which makes sense as she so well puts it herself that "Life's is a game against time!" and "People that don't have long lives ahead of them gotta go out an' give it all they got, or they'll regret it!". It was made clear form volume one that Rosette's lifespan is short and she even says to Azmaria that she doesn't think she'll live past 30 years old due to her contract with Chrono. So, I guess it's exactly this "concept" that has the story seem to go so fast, yet also so slow at times as again - this is only the 3rd volume and I both feel the story is so fast and so slow! Most manga's nowadays take at a while to build up a characters background story reveal, what the true end game is and even getting companions at times. With Chrono Crusade they just make it work, and I wish I knew how exactly...
