Coraline by Neil Gaiman
3.0
Saw this film years ago and did not think that it was really that interesting until I saw a Tumblr post yesterday and decided to give it a try as it is a short one. I have loved Neil Gaiman's books since I encountered American Gods way back in high school. He said that this was the book that he should be most proud of, and he should be. Mixing horror in a children's book is some talent. I wish that this book had been longer tho or there was a version that was meant for adults. The audiobook was narrated by Gaiman himself and it was great! I loved Coraline as a character and if I read this when I was younger, I would have been terrified. At the same time, for parents who are reading this, please do pay attention to your children. We never know... this might really happen. LOL.
