Something about the writing (maybe the present tense BLEAH) made me not very interested in the smutty opening scenes. I was looking forward to seeing Kat and Liam’s relationship develop, until the author made Liam say that thing about not hurting his baby because he’s Catholic — as if that would be okay for a non-Catholic with a baby they wanted.
