Not what I expected at all. I was kept anxious and wound up reading this book. I almost love how unreliable and cruel the characters are (intentionally or unintentionally). I found this read to be very dark (emotionally), the darkest in the series so far, but I couldn't turn away. Watching the manipulation unfold was like watching a car crash happen.
