Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk
5.0
changed my mind since i originally rated and decided to give it 4.5 stars rounded up to 5 here.
this is the second of palahniuk’s books that i’ve read (fight club being the first), and it did exactly all the things right that i also adored about fight club. twists and turns. vulgarity. insanity. wonderful writing. the use of the “you” perspective. and, possibly my favourite aspect of his writing, something that i have started to call “inside jokes”, or, to say it normally, the use of repetitions. the use of callbacks to earlier parts in the book. it’s just so incredibly fantastic, i wish i owned all of his books so i could devour them one by one.
