My dumb butt started this book not realizing it was third in a series, but luckily, it works as a standalone—and a pretty hot one at that. I love me some age-gap romance, but I was not prepared for how much I was going to love that the sub of the pair was the (psycho) pursuer—usually it’s the other way around in the books I’ve read. If you love hockey romance with a touch of mafia vibes and a heaping of “Touch him and perish” attitude, check it out!
