booksonawire 's review for:
Camp Slaughter
by Sergio Gomez
After almost a month of horror novels including some classics that were just okay, I love that this just embraced the genre and went full-on slasher. It felt like a movie, where the characters are just a line of bodies. You don't really get to know any of them, but it was just all about the cannibal who felt very Jason/Michael Myers-esque. He just keeps going. It has a good intro and once the action starts it just keeps going. I read the bulk of the book over a day (yay to short chapters) and will absolutely read more from this author. Is it perfect? No, but definitely memorable.
