I loved the first book, The Last Mrs. Parrish, so naturally I was so excited to get my hands on this one. Picking up where The Last Mrs. Parrish left off, The Next Mrs. Parrish throws you- ready-or-not into the rich and elusive world of Amber, Daphne, and Jackson once again. Each one dealing with different 'facets' of their personal lives and motivations. I was trying to put the pieces together and see the common thread between them all and the new character of Daisy Ann. The different chapters written in each point of view were well written, providing both depth and dimension into their personalities. The story line did not disappoint and I admit that I was a bit skeptical on where it was heading at first just because so many second books have a hard time of living up to the hype of the first book. I found myself page turning, getting emotional at times, and really trying to figure out the outcome. Truly, I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a thrill seeking, page turning, heist loving, and revenge tone of a book. Thank you to Random House Publishing Group, Liv Constantine (Lynne and Valerine- how cool that they both are sisters and authors as Liv!!!), and NetGalley for the ARC. I am excited to share this with my teacher friends, my coworkers, and fellow book club attendees. Thank you again!
