To me this isn't Anne anymore. So much so that I couldn't finish it. I couldn't help wondering why I was following the life of this interesting, ambitious creature just for her to end up a houswife with annoying children. I feel like all the adventure had died. I know growing up is a part of life but somehow I wish she had stayed the same old kindred spirit.
