I'm not really sure how to rate this. I don't prefer books with low emotional connection and I feel like I didn't see enough genuine emotional connection to warrant the ending. In the other hand, the sex and kink in this book is far, far better than any book I've read. Elijah and Baz came close in Lonely Hearts in some scenes but all of the consensual sex in this book is exactly what I want. Humiliation, painplay, exhibitionism, nipple play, we even got hole spanking. In that regard, this gets 5 stars from me.


 The thing I'm really tripping over the most though is the 3rd love interest is maybe the worst ive never read. I despise mind games and morally gray/ambiguous characters and that what this 3rd love interest is in a nutshell. I just found it hard to like him outside of the very very hot sex scenes
