Better Than the Movies by Lynn Painter

This is a cute YA romcom with nods to a lot of my favorite movies that I’d happily recommend for anyone looking for a cute fluffy read.
However, it made me cry… twice. I was not at all expecting to get in my feels with such a sweet, predictable story and my friend Kate assures me this was a totally rational response to the book, but I’m gonna blame my own fragile emotions. I don’t think the average reader would listen to this audiobook and have tears streaming down their face, but I’m on day three of bed rest with a mild concussion and I think that’s why it got me.
