I’ve been really into the psychological thrillers lately. Giving this one a 7.2/10.
This book was written in an interesting way - it gives away the “who dun it” about 2/3 of the way through, and the rest of the book becomes a “what’s going to happen now” type of story line. An interesting premise and unique scenario - I was engaged for the majority of the book however found the ending pretty disappointing. I can’t say too much more without giving away spoilers but ultimately a decent read about why lying and deceit are never the answer - as well as what extreme difficulties can arise out of having a challenging child. I do wish more questions were answered in the end, I think that would have been satisfying for me.
If you like easy reads / psychological thriller style books, you’d likely enjoy this book !
