I loved absolutely everything about this book. I was a little intimidated by this book at first because it's over 500 pages. However, I got through the book fairly fast (3 days) because I was so invested in the drama, the betrayal, the magic, and the romance.

The writing was very vivid. I could imagine everything that was happening like it was a tv show. Each chapter is written from a different character's perspective, so you're getting every side of the story. So, you're constantly second guessing who can be trusted and what side is the right side (for magic vs. against magic).

Also, I liked that in this world (set in the old times), there were no restrictions on what positions women could hold or sexuality.

✨️Favorite Character✨️
Nora was my favorite character because babyyyyy she was telling everybody's business in the worst moments. She's a kid, so she doesn't know any better, and that makes it even funnier.

Overall, I loved this book, I will be reading the rest of the series.
