So this book was just what I needed after a stressful couple of months. It’s sweet, funny, and completely ridiculous. And it knows that it’s ridiculous. In one part, Meddy, the main character, chastises herself for trying to think of realistic solutions to her situation, because “nothing about this day has been realistic.” I’m here for that self-awareness.
Did everything wrap up juuust a little too neatly at the end? Sure, but that’s what I came here for. I devoured this one in less than a day and quite literally laughed out loud throughout. I’ll definitely be reading the sequel soon.
