my personal definition of insanity is never enjoying a novella that much and yet continuously picking them up... one day i will learn

i really enjoyed hannah's parts (especially the reveal about halfway through) but felt pretty indifferent about the rest of this. i've said this in every novella review barring dawnshard (which, at its size and with 3 preceding full-length novels, barely counts), but i desperately needed everything fleshed out at least a hundred pages more
