Death of a Travelling Man by M.C. Beaton
Blurb
Sergeant Hamish Macbeth finds Sean Gourlay too handsome. The agent of evil pretends to be gypsy traveller with gutter-mouth Cheryl, disrupts Lochdubh village. The doctor is missing drugs. The Ladies' Club is missing money. Spinsters Nessie and Jessie want to move. Did one of the ladies kill Sean?
My Opinion
How have I already reached book nine in the series? The problem with these books is that they are short so I can just fly through them. I am not sure what it is about these books that keeps me coming back, but so far I don't feel like I need to take a break from this series.
This is a nice cosy mystery. I have been listening to the audiobooks and it is just so easy to listen to one in an afternoon. A fun read, and it so nice to return to Lochdubh every time I start the next audiobook in the series.
