Based off of the blurb, I thought I would love this. Witches taking down the patriarchy? Yes please.
However, I was disappointed in the plot, writing style, and characterisation.
Could have been ~100 pages shorter, none of the characters are fleshed out, nearly every male character is just 100% bad and overtly misogynistic- which is just not the case in real life.
I didn’t find the ending satisfying, I found it pretty predictable and I was just generally disappointed.
especially that Jo stayed with her deadbeat husband?? Did he ever start doing any of the household chores? When did his play actually get published? And then the second he gets any success he tells her she has to move??? NO THANKS

There was also clearly a lack of research done into any hobby/skill that the 3 women had which was so annoying.
Harriet is a babe though, I’ll give you that.
