Been a while since I’ve read a FMC book and she did not disappoint as per!
Sydney’s life as an accountant is lonely. Aside from her best friends, her dating life is limited to a dating app, where she meets some rather peculiar individuals. One of these men becomes overly obsessed, and a stranger intervenes to save her. Despite parting ways, Sydney can’t stop thinking about her mysterious man and hopes to see him again someday.
Another character, Tom, had a difficult childhood due to his abusive father. As a student, he learned that one of his classmates had gone missing and was later found murdered. There were suspicions that another student was responsible, but questions remain unanswered. Is Tom somehow involved in this tragedy?
Both characters come to meet and wow what a twist Freida had in store for us!
