Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow
3.5

Standard high quality biography, my main takeaway from this was more respect for the founding fathers - sure, they were kind of piece of shits that accepted slavery in exchange for the creation of a nation, but they were also lawyers, war veterans, educated in future Ivy League schools, well read in Plutarch and Hume and Hobbes, which I deeply long for when we have a president who thinks Plutarch is a planet.
