I initially read this book because I received the trilogy as a gift and it did admittedly sound interesting. I hit a snag in the other book I'm reading and its taken me longer to finish that book than it should. I loved this book. It's unique and never slows so much that I felt the need to pause or pick it back up in the morning. I actually read it in a few hours. I thought some of the writing wasn't the strongest but the plot never failed or jumped. The characters were likeable and real. I did find humor, sadness, romance and so much more in this book. There are a few sex dreams however nothing so graffic as 50 Shades of Grey or along the lines. I am excited to start the next book tomorrow....for fear that I'll read the whole book and continue and finish the entire trilogy tonight.
