Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert

4.0

I waffled back and forth between a 3.5 and a 4.0 but am rounding up.

It was an adorable story and I loved the main characters, but I wish there had been a smidgen more of Red and his back story, especially considering how much it made an impact on his currently life. So much was made of Chloe and her dealing with a chronic illness, that I felt like Red's issues to a backseat the entire time. There's a line in the book when Red is doing something for Chloe and he basically says that helping her isn't a big deal; that people should be there for one another, filling in a gap. And we see Red constantly do this for Chloe, I just would have liked to see Chloe do this for him as well.
