Spindeln by Lars Kepler

5.0

One of the best crime novels I’ve read. This is my first Lars Kepler novel and I loved every moment of it.

The mystery was intense, the pace was non stop, the characters were completely developed, even without reading the previous books. The pace at which the story moves is great, fast, but not so fast where there are key elements of the characters and plot that are sacrificed in order to be a page turner.

This book is very intense and be prepared to strap in for a wild, violent ride once you start this. The vibe is Stieglitz Larsson (I’m sure they’re sick of that comparison) meets S.A. Cosby or Dennis Lehane. Alexandra and Alexander are excellent crime writers and I will most definitely be getting each of the other books in the Joona Linna series.
