I knew of the anime frist, and initially thought it was stupid. Then, with nothing to read, I gave it a try. I don't like when there are dumb, perverted jokes, like there was in this first volume, but as the series continues the frequency of this drops. The action and plot capivates me, and I love the good guys (most of the time) and sometimes even sympathize for the bad guys. It's worth reading.
