no because why am i heartbroken? the ending?? NO!! T_T i don't know what i was expecting but it wasn't THAT. i really liked this series.
spoilers: the prophecy plot was so stupid. you're telling me beatrice croke didn't just destroy the hammer when she had the chance but instead came up with a dumbass puzzle that somebody else was gonna figure out 100 years in the future? WHY? just because some old hag said so as he fell into a river?? nonsense. also, alexandra's whole motivation is just being bad guy mcBad at this point. like, fuck it let's just kill all the dragons why not. okay.
