The Wake of Saints

I really wanted to love this book, because it's very overdue and I feel like a naughty schoolchild returning a late library book. I'm very poorly and I've tried my best to get everything read and back, but this one wasn't for me I'm afraid.
While the book was brilliantly written (from where I'd reached), I found the multiple views a little jarring and along with the overall story progression, unfortunately were making me a little sleepy. I prefer my fantasy to be utterly buzzing with life and packed with beautiful fast paced story telling.
I do think the world building was excellent and Hamill has created a very interesting world for fans to follow. However I don't think I can can finish the book, nary start the rest of the series.
This one was a DNF at 30% for me.
I hope others will find this book better received.
I will give this book another shot again, and update my review accordingly when I feel a little better.
