I think the author has a good overall story to share, but this book would have benefitted from a good editor. My main issues were as follows: (1) it was longer than I think it needed to be (2) aspects of the plot/magic system seemed unbelievable - specifically everything came too easy to Ena and her journey was not necessarily believable. There were some aspects that were just downright cheesy. It also felt in poor taste to use a very famous line from Throne of Glass: "to whatever end." This book already seems to have too many ToG similarities.
