God of War by Rina Kent

5.0

I’d like to caveat this review with Eli is *not* a nice guy. I don’t read Rina Kent books because I think they’re about nice men, I read them because no matter how morally grey or depraved the men are, they would burn the entire world for the sake of their love interest.

Eli is that through and through.

The push and pull of him and Ava had me in a complete and utter chokehold from start to finish.

The shocks, the heartache and the pure anger and angst had my emotions in an absolute roller coaster, from crying to laughing and crying again.

Ava’s battle with her mental health and how Eli tried to do what was best for her even against the wishes of others and defended her every step of the way was written so beautifully.

This review is bittersweet for me, I loved this book but I didn’t want it to end, I didn’t want this series to end. The features and snippets of the characters I adore made this book all the more better.

I have loved every single book and character and I will miss them so much
