I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed [b:The Endgame|57890340|The Endgame|Riley Hart|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1619687102l/57890340._SX50_.jpg|89307770]. I love a good sports romance, and while I am not a big fan of football, I took a chance here and it worked out pretty well. I knew going into the story that Anson would be inexperienced (definite plus) but I had no idea he would get so angsty, and I loved it. Anson and West had great chemistry and I liked how their relationship developed over a longer (at least in romance novel terms) period of time. I did feel that there were some parts, especially near the end that dragged a bit and I found my attention wandering, but most of the time I was engaged and entertained more than I had expected to be.
