The DUFF: Designated Ugly Fat Friend by Kody Keplinger

5.0

I didn't get to read this before I watched the movie, which is what I would've liked, but I honestly don't think it matters either way. Even though the book and the movie are really different and half of the storyline isn't even the same in terms of how it was portrayed and changed in the movie, I loved this book and the movie as well for their individual lots of awesome.

This book was so easy to get through and I love that B is her own person and accepts how she is, no matter what others think. The whole duff notion is definitely something that I know a lot of us girls struggle with, and I feel that it's a big part of the reason that this book is so wonderful. You can connect with it. You understand it. Wesley is the character you love to hate, and hate to love, and Bianca is just like the rest of us. A great story all around, well worth the read.
